Dr. Cohen is the best. The mechanisms behind getting appointments is horrible. My appointment was canceled by the office with the message to call a number to reschedule. No one would ever answer this number. An automated answer tells you to reschedule via the patient portal WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A SCHEDULING FUNCTION. There is a different phone number on the patient portal to call which also goes unanswered. Somehow I left a message to have someone call me to reschedule which happened a couple of days later. But the scheduler didn’t include that the appointment was to receive injections so the medication wasn’t sent to the Irving office and I have to schedule ANOTHER appointment and extra trip for me to return to receive medication that is already two weeks overdue.

Questions and requests are also handled promptly via the portal. Applause to the nurse wearing a jacket with "Navy" on it: she took extra care with my concern about the automated BP machine, and used the manual cuff for me. I was very grateful.

The front desk checkin process was comber some, I literally stood in line 3 times and the check out was worse. When I asked for the referral, She told me that was not her department and I had to get that from “them Back there”. As I proceeded to go back to find the nurse, the front desk lady raised her voice at me that I couldn’t ho back there. I told her I was confused since she just told me that I had to get my referral from them. I understand it was a misunderstanding however I do not expect to be yelled at and especially in front of other people. She did recognize that she made a mistake and said she would get someone to help me. It seemed as if there was an unspoken rule about returning back to the nurses station. However, I would hope that level of professionalism and outstanding service would extend to all personnel

I love Dr Cohen, as well as his staff. Living with inflammatory arthritis and it's damaged joints throughout my body, there's been several times my meds have been changed. Each time, Dr Cohen researches everything, tests me for markers that may indicate problems down the road, etc. No one-size-fits all, assembly line feel at all. I love Dr Cohen, as well as his staff. Living with inflammatory arthritis and it's damaged joints throughout my body, there's been several times my meds have been changed. Each time, Dr Cohen researches everything, tests me for markers that may indicate problems down the road, etc. No one-size-fits all, assembly line feel at all. He refers to surgeons that are top in their field. I consider myself Blessed to be under Dr Cohen's care!
