This visit with Dr Damato went very well. She listened to my problem and explained how a prescription medication could have negative side effects. She scheduled me for a two month follow up. I was happy with this visit.

She is kind and does pay attention to what I am saying. However she does not consider likely causes in my life for problem areas (in this visit it was blood pressure). She focused on need for weight loss. My own research after the visit points to chronic, severe stress over the last year on top of sleep deprivation. These are listed as valid causes on a basic Google search. I did discuss all of that with her. And the fact that my weight dropped 20 pounds several months ago. This isn't the first time I have had to do my own research to determine what was causing problems. Time will tell, I felt uncomfortable when I left.
