I chose Dr. Kim after reading his reviews online and researching his background. I had seen two other spine doctors before him. I had a L5-Sacrum1 disc herniation from a surfing accident.

Dr. Kim was awesome. He was extremely nice, very professional and knowledgeable. Although he is young, he's been trained by the best. He spent ample time explaining my back problem and even showed me my MRI films and explained it in detail.

Dr. Kim is truly a surgeon above the rest. My friend referred me to Dr. Kim after having great results. I had severe back pain and leg pain after a previous neurosurgeon had done a microdiscectomy on me. Dr. Kim spent 30 minutes explaining my problem and told me how he would fix it.

“Patient with leg pain”

Dr. Kim spent the extra time explaining my back pain and numbness in detail. He showed me my films (which no previous spine surgeon did) and answered all my questions. He is extremely bright, knowledgeable and young. He quotes current research and explains the various options (both surgical and non-surgical). My husband agreed that he was very personable.
