Bedside manner decreased when I became pregnant. Seemed more engaged, friendly, and open to questions when I was a regular patient coming for wellness visits. Tone and demeanor shifted when I became pregnant. Most questions were dismissed and shrugged off, chalked up to "pregnancy". When asked when would be the right time to talk about birth plan, was told they know how to deliver a baby.
