“I usually don't fill out these s...”
I usually don't fill out these surveys because the quality of care I receive at Cedars is consistently excellent, but I do feel the need to voice my disappointment about my visit with Raquel. I found her to be incredibly belittling. She seemed irritated that I came into the office to seek treatment while sick. She made multiple attempts to imply that my symptoms were either imagined or not as severe as I was describing. I've dealt with chronic sinusitis for almost 20 years, and I know my body. We're both adults, and she was speaking to me with a tone best reserved for a child. She seemed to want me out of the office as soon as possible. When I asked about a steroid for my symptoms, she dove in with fear-mongering about osteoporosis and diabetes (I've taken prednisone many times for asthma and this left me very anxious as a result). I will not seek treatment from her again. Better to be ill at home than treated with such callousness.
