He is the only cardio-oncology specialist and I initially scheduled with the cardiologist I could get into the soonest. I had a hospitalization and the cardiologist scheduled cancelled my scheduled appointment and rescheduled me with Dr Lyoune whom I originally wanted to see. Dr Lyoune got me in to see join in a timely matter due to my hospitalization.

I had questions regarding SVT discovered while wearing a ZIO monitor following several TIA's. My Neurologist kind of dismissed it as Insignificant as far as TIA/Stroke. I wanted to followup with a Cardiologist to make sure there wasn't anything to be concerned about, or precautions I needed to take . I felt very reassured after speaking to Dr. Layoun. He took his time explaining the condition and reassuring me that I didn't need to worry now, but if my symptoms changed I could/should schedule an appointment to be reassessed. He also had taken the time to review all my tests/procedures and was very well informed about my case before I got there. I very much appreciated the time he spent with me.

Dr. Layoun was very thorough in explaining the EKG results to me. This was my first visit to establish care with him as I am taking a medication that potentially can cause heart-related issues which he also explained thoroughly to me. Additionally, he is a very nice, caring doctor.
