It felt mechanical and scripted, as though she was required to show that she knew my health history and what we had decided to do. It was like having a bot read to me. If she had done the same thing without appearing to read from the computer like a bot, it might have had a different impact. I don't think she would recognize me on the street or choose me from a lineup as one of her patients.
