“I have now seen Laura two or thr...”
I have now seen Laura two or three times and I always feel as if her bedside manner could be better. I understand that there is a short time window for each patient, but I feel as if she tries to just rush through our visits. On our most recent visit, I was disappointed to find out that she didn't run my usual labs that I've been getting for the last five years, and I felt like it was a huge oversight and that she could have taken more time to recount what orders she put in the year prior and the one prior to that to ensure that I am reviewing the full extent of my health and I feel like because she was in a rush or busy or getting ready to be out of office, she didn't take the time to be thorough to check previous orders that she had placed, and ultimately misplacing orders that I find imperative for my health. While I understand that the orders she gave are traditional, I have been getting the same lab orders placed for the last five years so she should know by reviewing my chart what I need and the fact that she didn't put that in made me feel unseen as a patient and ultimately led me to the decision that I will most likely find a new provider.
