Dr. Swindle is patient, empathetic and he explains complicated issues in a way that a lay person can easily wrap their mind around. I would not ever choose to see another Family Medicine doctor other than Dr. Swindle. Period.

When navigating how we wanted to proceed to start treating my diabetes after the initial diagnosis, Dr. Swindle let me make the calls ultimately for how we would proceed. He helped provide me with insight and information I needed to feel empowered with my decision, but also laid out potential next steps in case my a1c did not improve with general lifestyle changes. While my weight and diet at the time were the primary reasons my a1c had been elevated, I always felt like I was still being respected and treated like a person. He doesn't mince words, he checks I'm comfortable with decisions being made before putting them into action, and I deeply appreciate his direct and concise care.
