MDr. Chapman treated me as a whole person...I felt validated and empowered to make positive changes in my health. It was a remarkable experience. He didn't rush to surgery. He gave practical ideas like footwear, trekking poles, back brace. He ordered lots of tests that I've needed for years. He advocated for me in ways my own medical providers had not. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Chapman. I have hope and inspiration to take my life back. THANK YOU!!

I always look forward to appts with Dr.Chapman. His knowledge base and spine surgical skills span the globe. Am grateful to him for my being able to live without back pain. I appreciate his concern to arm me with recumbent biking daily assignments, and PT for Gait and Balance and Fall Prevention.

“Dr. Chapman explained very clear...”

Dr. Chapman explained very clearly to me that my spinal stenosis is related to fat deposits in my spine. By losing weight I could eliminate the fat deposits and thereby rid myself of the problem. He was very persuasive. I am in day eight of my weight loss program feeling a bit better already. I remain hopeful and positive about changing my lifestyle due to the way he convinced me that it's my responsibility. I'm grateful to him for that. He was not at all preachy in his delivery. Just the facts for me to accept or ignore at my choice. Surgery is not necc
