“Ida has been the ONLY provider to see me for me, my condition, my family, my whole world and not just another medical record number aka paycheck”
I was just 22 when a MVA completely changed my life. It's has defined me since. I was ejected from my vehicle when I hydroplaned. After all the rolls between myself and my car I found myself under my car. From my pelvis down everything was crushed. I was told and expecting for my right leg to be amputated. Blessed doctors, nurses and all those involved really blessed me with a future of two legs. Lots of orthopedic surgery was done after they fixed all the vascular stuff. But that day 12/4/2004 changed my life. It defied my life for many years until Ida. Ida is above all one of the best providers I have ever been blessed to meet. Oh and I have seen a lot. She HEARS me and actually takes it in for the best appropriate care for me. Over all whats even more amazing is she always remembers you, your diagnosis, your family everything. I'm a nurse and patients can sometimes blend and it's not personal but a quick glance at the chart and it all clicks. She never glances at charts she embraces you with a "how are you?" My life would have been miserable for many years if I had not had her as my provider. All others providers could really learn a thing or two about patient care and empathy from Ida. As nurses we sometimes tend to tell ourselves were are just that but she has been so much more not just for me but my family as well. I was blessed with her care and guidance that never failed.
