“Another orthopedic doctor referr...”
Another orthopedic doctor referred me to Eli Baron, MD, for a second opinion and potentially a recommended treatment plan. I brought with me, and delivered to Dr. Baron's staff, my MRI results from June, 2025. I also directed Dr. Baron to an earlier MRI from March and it is my understanding he referenced one prior to examining me, and both during the consult. After interviewing me, Dr. Baron hastily, and improperly performed two tests. His haste and lack of proper exam technique MIGHT have been because the imaging illustrated empirical evidence that made these tests unnecessary. Nevertheless, Dr. Baron missed an opportunity to establish and build trust with me when he failed to employ best practices.1) A Patella Tendon Reflex. Unfortunately, Dr Baron performed this very basic test while I was seated in a chair with my feet resting firmly on the floor (as opposed to me being seated on an elevated exam table with my lower legs freely suspended.2) Internal & External Rotation of the Hip. Dr. Baron also performed this test while I remained seated In a chair with my feet planted firmly on the ground. I spoke up and told him he was not doing the tests properly. He had me do one more test quickly then Invited me to follow him to view my Imaging results, which I very much appreciated,
