Dr. Enzer had been treating me for residual facial muscle weakness & chronic tearing resulting from Bell’s Palsy for over 10 years. I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy (secondary to Lyme Disease) in 2012. When my L facial droop & excessive tearing did not resolve within 6 months, my PCP could only offer statistics for the generic population of Bell’s Palsy sufferers but no definitive treatment or therapies. My own research suggested the importance of Vitamin B complex through diet & oral supplements, acupuncture & intra -oral physical therapy - all of which I did for 18 months resulting in some improvement. A physician friend recommended Dr. Enzer, as his specialty in ocular facial surgery may offer new modalities. Wow! Dr. Enzer was thorough as he explained the pathophysiology of Bell’s Palsy & was sincerely confident he could help me attain noticeable results from medical Botox. My Botox injections, approximately every 12 weeks, is not a cure yet I have achieved remarkable results!
