He truly listens and is able to summarize and reformulate what the patient is trying to articulate so that even the patient has a better understanding of what she/he is trying to convey. He doesn't just listen, but provides insight and advice that is obviously grounded in years of experience. I have seen other therapists in the past, and none even remotely compare.
