The entire staff of Digestive Disease Consultants at their Altamonte Springs, FL location were friendly, professional and thorough. This was my first time with this office and I highly recommend them. I went in for my 60 year colonoscopy and Dr. Zapatier was personal, professional, and explained the entire process during my consultation, which relieved my anxiety. A week later I returned from my procedure and again the staff was A+. The pre and post procedural process was flawless.

When I woke up, the nurse Lea attended me and she worried about me in everything, she made me feel comfortable with the process after the colonoscopy (which is not very pretty). Dr. Zapatier took over from my previous physcian that had left the practice. I found him to be very personable. His bedside manner is excellent and he was very good about listening to my issues and offering advice as well as professional expertise. He performed two procedures on me and explained before and after how things were going without rushing and was more than willing ot answer my questions. I would highly recommend him.

Prior to the appointment, I had prepared myself with horror stories about having a colonoscopy proceedure but inside of 15 minutes, I was feeling better about where I was having it done. They are excellent at what they do. I went to sleep and woke up with everything done and I was feeling great. Hungry, but no pain or even any discomfort and I am so fortunate I didn't wait too long. It was a great experience working with Dr Zapatier. He takes his time and explains everything to ones satisfaction. He has a very nice bedside manner. In reference to billing I had issues. I was told that if my insurance did not cover the screening procedure 100% I would be notified. After my procedure I received a $700 bill. Office needs better communication with procedure patients.
