In addition, he did not make me jump through hoops like the two other non-Jefferson otolaryngologist’s I’d seen over the past 5 years, who knew my issue, but wouldn’t refer me for the care I was requesting. I felt the audiologist (Molly) was excellent - she knew her stuff and did a thorough job with my hearing test and reviewing the results/report. Dr. Fitzgerald spent very little time with me. He looked in each ear and shared the report which Molly had gone over. He asked if I was interested in hearing aids and said his people would set up a fitting/session. One other item was front desk gave me the ‘novel’ of forms to complete when I had already done the pre-appointment forms in My Chart. They were voluminous and redundant.

The staff was knowledgeable, understanding and willing to explain what was being done and the results of the testing, this portion of the visit was a 10 out of 10

Dr Fitzgerald carefully Explained treatment options that led to insertion of a tube. He explained what he was doing and the process was not unpleasant. I had another doctor I set a tube and it was an awful experience. Dr. Fitzgerald could not have been more gentle and patient.

I stupidly got a hearing aid tip stuck in my ear. Called jeff otolarangology at 900am. Tjey got me in to Dr Fitzgerald ny 10:45. He was very pleasant and got the thing out with no pain and also cleaned out both ears. Outstanding!
