I had been terrified of having my wisdom teeth removed since they first appeared in my x-ray in high school. Now, at 32 years old, I finally had to have them out. I was so nervous when I came in, but Dr. Hanson gave me a quick and easy explanation of the surgery, and on the day of, the nurses were very sweet. Dr. Hanson asked the nurse "how is she feeling", before he started, which really put me at ease. We got a package of after care supplies. Overall, a really good experience.

Dr. Hanson was very professional and took good care of me. I could have used more pre-op information from the staff. I was given the option of using general anesthesia but not encouraged to do so. The actual extraction was traumatizing and I would have taken general anesthesia had I been told of the intense nature of the procedure. All in all, however, it has been a positive experience (albeit a painful one).

Only experience that some might describe as negative is that when I came in to get my implant, I was anesthetized before Dr. Hanson came in to assess. The assessment was that he didn't have the optimally sized implant for me, so I would have to come back once the correct implant arrived. It would have been nice for this assessment to have been made before anesthetic application, as that was the most painful part of the entire procedure. Ultimately, I'm happy with it being done correctly.

Dr. Hansen and his staff were a pleasure. Appointment was easily and promptly scheduled. I had a questionable piece of tissue that was removed and sent to a lab. The lab sample was just to confirm his thoughts and he was exactly accurate. I will definitely come back again in the future should I need another oral surgeon.
