“Overall, the visit was fine. It ...”

Overall, the visit was fine. It was a doctor's appointment so I hold low bar expectations. However, when I am asking for a referral for something specific and then am told "You don't have that, but we will do the referral anyway" that is a bit off putting. As well as being repeatedly told that my eating habits are the reason I am overweight. I have been in this body and lived with it for a lot longer than the 10 minutes the doctor was able to judge me, it is not fully on my eating habits that I am overweight. Totally inappropriate and a great way to dismiss your patients who want help when they have severe dietary restrictions.
