“So glad we were referred to Dr. Sardinha”
I was referred to Dr. Tereza Cristina Sardinha in February 2016 after the doctor who performed my routine colonoscopy found a polyp that needed to be removed surgically. The referring doctor told me and my family how much he trusted Dr. Sardinha and that she was the surgeon who performed surgery on his own mother.
We made an appointment based on this referral and Dr. Sardinha saw us the very next day. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor that Dr. Sardinha surgically removed in March. Of course, we were anxious and nervous throughout the entire process. But Dr. Sardinha took the time to explain issues, potential issues and options in detail and in an incredibly caring and supportive manner.
Dr. Sardinha also went out of her way to make herself available for questions prior to the surgery and the recovery process. We knew from day-one that we were in extremely caring and talented hands. In fact, we often felt that she treated us as if we were members of her family. And for this, we are extremely grateful. We wholeheartedly recommend – and can’t say enough good things about – Dr. Sardinha and her practice.
