“Yikes”
All your fears and anxieties about talking to a therapist realized! She told me that she could no longer see me as a patient and would have to refer me out, rushed me out of her office but not before straight up laughing in my face when I said that I felt like women are often expected to play a more understanding role in relationships than men, telling me the following gems "I work in empathy and you have no empathy" and "you're just not going to get over this," and, of course, charging me for this 40 minute long session from hell. Never received any of those referrals out either. Stay away!
