“Wrist Pain”

Came to see Dr. Zaino with some wrist pain, and it turned out I was diagnosed with a rare disease on my left wrist (Kienbock Disease) where my lunate bone was not receiving blood and the bone had decayed. Dr. Zaino was super helpful guiding me thru everything, answering all my questions, and helping me make the best and right decisions. I am now 6 months after surgery and pain free, with a great recovering. I highly recommend him. He also was very attentive with the cosmetic part of my scar. It looks amazing. Thank you Dr Zaino for your great work.

“Clavicle Fracture”

I came to see Dr. Zaino with a clavicle fracture where the bone had separated. He instantly recognized it as the type of fracture requiring surgery. I was very skeptic of having surgery but he gave me time to think it over. When it showed no change, I agreed to allow him to perform the surgery. I listened to all of his instructions from there out and made a very quick recovery. I trust him and would return for any future fractures.

“Great doctor, great staff, reasonable cost with Aetna insurance”

I originally went to doctor Zaino because he had excellent reviews from patients, and he did not disappoint. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and once there he quickly and effectively diagnosed my broken metacarpal, even correcting a mistake made by an urgent care I originally went to (I should have just gone directly to Dr Zaino). He even had something I'd never heard of to immobilize my hand (called the knuckle) that was much more comfortable than a cast or plaster/ace bandage, and I was able to remove it when I showered.

The office staff was extremely friendly and always made me feel welcomed, the location is easy to get to, and the out of pocket cost was very reasonable even with the cheapest Aetna insurance.

I don't like having to go to any doctor, but Dr. Zaino and his staff made it as pleasant as it could possibly be.

“Dr. Zaino is a god-send. A true lifesaver.”

Two years ago I sustained significant ulnar nerve damage. I basically had no use of my left-dominant hand. After nearly two years of OT and PT and opinions from various doctors with not much relief, I found Dr. Zaino. He quickly diagnosed my problem and was able to surgically correct it. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and my problem is 90% resolved. I am so looking forward to full recovery and being back to living a normal life with full use of my dominant hand.

“Great Recovery and a Caring Physician”

I visited Dr. Zaino after I ruptured a ligament in my thumb following a bad fall. He provided a quick assessment of my injury and gave me choices regarding my treatment plan. Opting for conservative treatment, Dr. Zaino put my hand and thumb in a cast, and I recovered quickly with very little discomfort. I am now almost 100 percent back to living life as normal with full use of my thumb. I would recommend this doctor for his expertise and high level of patient care.

“Despite the seriousness of my injury, Dr. Zaino made the experience as pleasant as possible, from start to finish.sh.”

On Oct. 6, 2020, I accidently seriously cut the fingers on my left hand with a table saw. My pointer finger was missing half of the the inside tip of the finger going back about 5/8s of an inch. The front of my middle finger up to the first joint was pretty much hanging there. I had cut near the bone at the first joint. Dr. Zaino successfully restored the missing portion of my pointer finger with flesh from my palm, and reconnected the front of the middle finger with two rods. Today, 6 months later, if you looked at my hand, you would not be able to tell that I had any injury. Dr. Zaino is the closest thing to a "Miracle Worker" that I have ever encountered. My appreciation goes beyond words.

I am 72 years old and fell and broke my Ulna in my left forearm. Not knowing a surgeon I wound up having my breaks fixed by Dr. Zaino. I can only say that God brought me to him and the result and outcome is fantastic! He is a great surgeon and a very fine man. Example of this: How many surgeons write you a thank you after surgery for having confidence in him? Dr. Zaino is a very humble (but highly skilled) man and I would recommend him to anybody who has experienced a trauma and needs surgery.

“A Wonderful Time”

I came to Dr. Zaino with a mess of a fracture. During my visit, he treated me very kindly and informed me that I was going to need surgery. The surgery went smoothly despite how difficult the process was. As I recovered from the surgery, Dr. Zaino guided me on how to regain mobility and strength in my finger. He was very kind and offered many different exercises I could do at home in addition to my phyiscal therapy and whatnot. He answered all the questions I had. I had my complete faith in him in the entire time, so I was never nervous throughout the entire process!

“Fantastic - Exceeded expectations”

I came in with an injury that was more significant than I had realized. Dr. Zaino was very clear in giving me all my options, pros and cons of each, with no pressure to go in any specific direction (though he of course gave his professional opinion of which he considered best and why).

The surgery went exceedingly well, and the follow-up visits were quick and painless. Two months out of surgery, and everything is looking really good. Could not be happier with this experience.

I needed Surgery on my fingers. I had an appointment within an hour of the injury and His PA confirmed that Dr Zaino said Surgery was needed I meet with Dr Zaino the next Morning to go over pro and cons and surgery was scheduled. Was back up and typing within 3 days of surgery. Will sit down with you and explain everything, its your hand and your decision. After a fall on the sidewalk, resulting in a "bad break" of my left wrist, I was able to schedule an appointment and see Dr. Christian Zaino very soon after calling his office. As a professional flutist, it was devastating to to think I might not be able to perform again, giving up my work and all the social connections therein. Dr. Zaino "put me back together" during a 2-1/2 hour surgery. After follow-up visits with Dr. Zaino and approximately 3 months of hand therapy at Atlantic Health I played my first concert and have continued successfully with the orchestra. I am very grateful to have my life back!

“Resolved My Elbow Injury”

Dr. Zaino helped me overcome an injury to my elbow. I appreciate the cautious approach he took when diagnosing and treating the injury. He didn't rush the process and waited until it was absolutely clear that surgery was the only way fix the problem before he recommended a quick procedure. The surgery center provided excellent service pre-op and post-op, and the surgery itself was a success. Six weeks later, and I am nearly 100% healed after months of pain. Thanks, Dr. Zaino!

Dr. Zaino took on my case after much research to be sure that the surgery was a success. I had a pinky finger fracture that was challenging to surgically fix. He explained what to expect and after a few months, I almost have a full range of motion.

“This Doctor and his staff were amazing”

I was bitten by a brown recluse, which developed into a staph infection. as a fisherman i was scared of losing my favorite hobby. He was attentive and diligent. hat could have turned out into a long 12 week process with it ending in plastic surgery, ended up being a quick month and a half healing process with minimal scar tissue and no loss of function. The rest of the staff at the locations i visited were all so nice and personable. Thank you Dr Zaino

“Great experience from first visit to eventual surgery on my thumb”

Dr. Zaino took his time to determine a course of action for the mass on my thumb. OINJ was remarkable for scheduling appointments and surgery. After surgery Dr. Zaino called me immediately after receiving my pathology report to disuss results and plan of action as I had a unique case. “I was in wrist pain for many years and Dr Zaino and his team have done an excellent job restoring my wrist.”

I came to Dr Zaino with severe pain in my wrist, from a childhood wrist injury that had left my bones detached and fragmented compounded by carpal tunnel. Dr Zaino was clear and direct on what was going on and the treatment I needed. Knowing that I needed surgery sooner rathter than later he and his team expedited all that needed to be done for my surgery to happen quickly. I would say from the minute I met Dr. Zaino, I knew I would get better. The scary part of not knowing what was ahead with a fracture was answered on my first visit. I knew I was in good "hands". “So thrilled with the outcome of my elbow surgery!”

I was diagnosed with tennis elbow and had surgery in June 2020. Dr. Zaino was extremely courteous and gave me all the time I needed to thoroughly explan what the surgery entailed. I had the surgery during COVID and everyone on his team was so cautious and patient. THERE WERE NO WORRIES AT ALL!. I was able to move my elbow pretty good after only one week and now its been about two months and I am back to normal. I am soooo happy I chose to have my surgery done by Dr. Zaino. “Excellent bed side manners”

I found him through my insurance when no other doctor was available during the middle of a snow storm. Their office was able to see me ASAP for my broken wrist. He explained to me what needed to be done and explained to me what my options were. He also explained what the best option for me was, which was indeed surgery. I was unsure about the decision but because he answered all of my questions so thoroughly and explained things to me in such a way that I could understand I felt 1,000% better about going through with wrist surgery. I was able to heal up nicely with no complications.

When I got hurt , I know it was pretty bad I did not know what to think of it, Someone refer refer me to Doctor Zaino.
I can now open it up and move my fingers, As soon as the doctor seen my hand said to me ,you need a surgery I hate to tell you ,

Dr. Zaino started with a conservative approach to treatment and after 6 weeks, my sagital band tear unfortunately wasn't healing in the manner it should. He was able to quickly schedule a surgery which couldn't have gone smoother. About 4-5 weeks later i was out of my brace and starting PT with no complications.

Dr. Bassett provided the highest level of care for me. I had a meniscotomy after an injury and was in severe pain. Dr. Bassett saw me immediately, scheduled an MRI for that night and personally explained the results to me the next morning over the phone. She then scheduled surgery as soon as possible to assist me as I was still experiencing high levels of pain. Throughout the process, Dr. Bassett took time with me, gave me the highest level of personal attention and performed my surgery with top-notch skill. She is a game-changer. I have not often been treated by a doctor with both high-level expertise and high-level bedside manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Bassett.

Pleasant. This was my first surgery, so I had a bit of trepidation. Dr. Bassett walked me through the scans of my knee, did a clear show & tell of what was paining me. She's apparently an excellent craftsman as well; a week after my surgery, I was bicycling again. I would not recommend damaging your knee doing sports, but if you do, Dr. Bassett is a perfect surgeon to fix you back up!

I am a Patient of Dr.Bassett for two injuries. My right labrum had torn and bone and cartilage was floating around. She performed surgery on my arm and it could not have gone any smoother. The second time was on my left labrum. It is torn from what the MRI showed and Dr.Bassett advised me on her recommendation. Overall I would recommend her for anything she is very competent.

While doing landscaping I heard a pop and watched my bicep curl up, believing I tore my bicep I called Dr. Ashley Bassett’s office to see if I was able to get into. After explaining what happened they were able to squeeze me in. Dr. Bassett immediately knew I tore my bicep and was able to get me for a MRI immediately that day. After reviewing the MRI, it was determined that I need left elbow distal bicep tendon repair. Dr. Bassett made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She constantly explained the next steps and told me what my expectations should be. After the surgery and throughout the follow up appts she was on time and attentive. She kept in constant contact with physical therapist throughout my treatments.

Hopefully I never have to do surgery again but if I do I will definitely utilize Dr. Bassett.

I had torn my ACL and both meniscus in high school soccer my senior year. I received ACL reconstruction surgery and my meniscus was repaired as well and I believe that with Dr. Bassett, this went as smooth as it could have possibly gone. She was very good at communicating and answering my questions whenever I had any, and after I told them that I needed to be ready for College soccer by a certain time, they worked with me to get there, doing it safely and cautiously all the time. I stumbled upon Dr. Bassett after a very unexpected Achilles tear and knowing nothing about the world of orthopedics, I feel like I hit the lottery! “ABSOLUTELY wonderful”

came to dr bassett with horrible debilitating knee pain. MCL tear & pelligrini-stedia lesion. dr bassett was meticulous in creating a relaxing atmosphere in what should have been traumatic to some patients. i went into surgery with a big smile knowing i was in perfect, capable hands! being in a complete leg brace from groin to ankle for 2 months was a bummer but to see how far I've come has made it all worth while. the follow up appointments were positive & dr bassett kept my confidence up & kept me highly motivated to get me through. i am very grateful for all she has done.

“The best care I could have asked for”

Dr. Bassett and her team really knocked it out the park from beginning to end. I felt heard and understood from day one and I really like that Dr. Bassett only made me aware of how surgery would benefit me without actually forcing the decision to get the surgery. I appreciated that I had a choice. Experiencing surgery during a pandemic where I wasn't allowed a guest to sit in the room with me at the time would've been a lot scarier if Dr. Bassett and her team weren't as kind and caring as they are. My recovery also went along smoothly thanks to Dr. Bassett's PT recommendation (LJ at Professional PT) and again, her team at both the Morristown and Randolph building who made sure I felt okay every step of the way. God forbid I ever find myself in the situation where I need surgery again but if I do, I know I will be in good hands with Dr. Bassett and her team. “A long journey that was guided by professionals that wanted to see me back to who I used to be.”

Overall Dr Bassett was amazing and so helpful with my ACL recovery. It's a very long time frame but I always felt I was of importance and that the steps taken were done at my pace. After getting the MRI results and talking to friends who also tore their ACL's, many recommended seeing Dr Bassett because of how great she was all around, from surgery to flexibility to patient care.

“Truly one of the greatest surgeons”

From patient care to technical performance, there is no one else like Dr. Bassett. Before she repaired the torn labrum in my shoulder, I was unable to press any weight above my head, swim, run comfortably, or even do simple things around the house like lifting a gallon of milk out of the fridge. But after my surgery was completed by Dr. Bassett and after going to all physical therapy sessions, I am now able to do everything and anything I want or need to do. It's truly as if I reset my shoulder to a time before it was injured. My mobility and strength have been fully restored. Dr. Bassett is one of the best doctors I have ever met. She listened to my concerns about the pain I was experiencing and answered every single question I had. Dr. Bassett was able to create a customized treatment plan for me and made me aware of all the different options we had along each step of the way. I never felt pressured by her to have the surgery but I am so incredibly thankful that she performed it.

From start to finish Dr. Bassett was highly involved with me and my injury. She presented the results well and made sure that I was going to be dedicated to the recovery as much as the Surgery. With multiple tears and injuries to fix, I found myself doing things i coulnt before the surgery within 12 weeks. As the healing progressed, and the Office visits as well, within 4 months I was no longer having pain or issues with the Shoulder. Within the last few visits, a plan was laid out and was fulfilled with me being released in 6 months. I coulnt have asked for a more professional Doctor or plan to fix and heal my shoulder.

“Bucket-handle meniscus repair-Fantastic surgeon, honest, clear communication , invested”

From the second Dr. Bassett evaluated our 14 y.o. son after a baseball injury, she knew exactly what was wrong. During the first few months of Covid lockdowns, with out-patient centers just opening up again, Dr. Bassett got him into surgery within days, repaired an ugly bucket-handle meniscus tear in his knee, referred him for PRP treatment in her office , and was honest and clear about the road ahead. With a kid that wanted to get back to sports so badly, Dr. Bassett was gentle but firm -and communicated with him in a way that he couldn’t help but agree with her when it came to his health and his future.
We are forever grateful to Dr. Bassett. It’s been 7 months and our son just skied double-black diamond runs 6 hours a day, 3 days in a row on our ski trip (as 15 year olds do)!

“Life Changing! My new hip, is the best joint in my body!!!”

“I am so glad that I decided to have the total knee replacement! It has changed my life!!!”

Dr. Shin is wonderful, from my first visit (pre-op) to my last visit (3 months after surgery) he has been fabulous. The surgery and recovery was a lot easier and faster than I ever thought it would be. Dr. Shin and his staff were always available by phone with questions during my post surgical recovery. The entire process was wonderful - this is a very supportive staff with a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I would recommend Dr. Shin without hesitation.

“My experience with Dr. Shin was great.”

I am so very happy I came to see Dr. Shin for my hip problem. He has such a pleasant personality. He explains things very well and is patient when listening to my questions. It is very easy to talk to him - he makes me feel very comfortable. I am very confident in his abilities as a surgeon. I could not have asked for more from the first time visit to the office, through surgery and recovery till now. Since my total hip replacement, I feel like a new person. All the pain is gone and I am able to get back to my life! The whole process of surgery, recovery and therapy went so smoothly. From the very first visit knew I coundn't be in better care and surgery results. The Pre-Op preperation extremly comforting and understand when and why all required. The day of surgery from very start all staff members and nurses very freindly. This put my mind in a comfortable place. Positivity is most important. Dr Shin is my surgeon for life. “Dr. White is knowledgeable, a good listener, and dealt with my issue effieciently and completely.”

Due to a fall, I had a bone fracture in my calf. Dr. White prescribed a series of braces to allow my bone to heal and bring be back to normal, by focusing on my ankle, not the calf.
My pain is completely gone and I'm happy to be fully recovered.

I woud definitely come to see Dr. White again.

“My experience was absolutely wonderful”

I came in to see Dr White after I had an auto accident with a compound fracture to my right ankle. Had emergency surgery with another dr. I then developed post traumatic arthritis in the area of the surgery.I was referred to Dr White and was determined I needed an ankle fusion. I was afraid I wouldnt be able to walk with that fusion. Dr White assured me I would. I had the surgery 6 months ago. I am waIlking unassisted and am very happy with the outcome. Dr Whites knowledgeis the absolute best and his personality and bedside manner are top notch, his office staff are great as well. I would most definitely recommend him for any foot/ankle issues. I cant thank him enough!!

“Dr Koss is an amazing compassionate and super surgeon”

Dr Koss replaced my right knee years ago, so when I started having pain in my left knee, I went to see him. He diagnosed a torn meniscus and recommended surgery. I came to the surgery center in Sparta and had amazing care. I have problem veins and when I described the issues, the nurse putting in the IV listened - adjusted her plan and got it in the first time. They have a heater system that plugs into your gown - keeping you warm and toasty. They used it in surgery and post-op and I never got that shocky feeling I usually have being so cold, especially following surgery. Dr Koss told me I would be able to walk out after surgery and he was right. Course I was on pain meds and after they wore off, the swelling needed icing and meds to be comfortable. But a week post-op, I'm walking more freely and am improving daily. I got my summer back thanks to Dr Koss. He listens, he's responsive and he cares about your progress.

“Best surgeon hands down great experience”

After see a previous doctor that kept prescribing medication I came to see Dr Koss. He took xrays and told me I needed a total shoulder replacement. Surgery went great he was there through our recovery and my rehab. I am now pain free thankts to Dr Koss.

Dr. Koss was wonderful from start to finish in this procedure of knee replacement. He made me feel totally comfortable with his explanations before the surgery. His visit after the surgery and the next day were very reassuring.
It has been a year since the surgery and I am proud to say I have ridden my bicycle 1000 miles since the surgerey.
