Like Family! Very Thorough Doctor!

When entering the office it's like you're one of the family! The receptionist greets you with a "Good morning. How are you?" They take you in, check your vision, and dilate your eyes so they can assess the back of your eye better. They even have a TV you can watch while you're dilating because your eyes get a little blurry when you’re dilating.

They never keep you real long. Doctor Richardson usually has a lot of patients but he usually sees me on time.

He answers my questions. He is never in a hurry. I have been to doctors where they have one leg out the door. He is not like that at all. He explains thoroughly and he makes sure that you understand. He is always smiling and he answers your questions so you can understand them. He doesn't use these big words that you don't understand.

He is very thorough. He makes you feel very welcome and he always gives you samples to try out if available in case it doesn't work, you don't spend $$ to find out it doesn't work. I highly recommend him!

A Pleasant Doctor

My optometrist had suggested I may have glaucoma. I was recommended to see Dr. Richardson. At first I was a little apprehensive. I thought, "Glaucoma? Am I going to go blind!?" Dr. Richardson has been a very pleasant ophthalmologist. We went through a number of tests. Everyone at the office was very pleasant, and everything went well. I've been coming here for, one year now, and the follow up is excellent! I will keep coming back. My wife also intends to come here. I think this is a great place to come, and I would recommend anyone come to the San Gabriel Valley Eye Associates.

Saved My Life!

I'm a patient of Drs. Richardson, and Kratz, and Pritchard. I've seen all three doctors. Dr. Kratz I saw originally, and he saw something that was in my eye that shouldn't have been. He took the time and the care to contact my family doctor, and he ran some tests and come to find out I had a blockage in the artery to my heart. So in my opinion, Dr. Kratz saved my life!I also have glaucoma and macular degeneration. They sent me to specialists at Doheny Eye Clinic, which has taken care of it also. I went to Doheny, and the doctor there called Dr. Richardson before I even left the parking lot and decided how to go from there.Dr. Richardson had removed my cataracts. It was very painless. I couldn't believe when I took the patch off that I could see and how bright everything was. They are so professional. Having Anna and Jonathan there just made it perfect for me. Dr. Richardson was so caring and loving and explained everything to me step by step.Every time I come in here, I never get treated with anything but professionalism and caring. I would recommend any of these doctors to anybody. They are the most fantastic, the office people as well. I thank them for my life and for my eyesight. Thank you.
