“Warm, friendly, efficient”

I have four children who came in for routine care all at once. Every hygienist was very warm, friendly, and welcoming, such that all of my children - even the one who was anxious about cleaning prior to the appointment - were at ease and cooperative. It was efficient, since all were seen at once, and Dr. Chin was friendly and efficient as well. All four kids were in and out in just over 20 minutes, which really minimizes meltdowns in the waiting area!

Dr Chin saw both my kids at the same time which was awesome to not have to have 2 appointments and he was great about explaining what work my daughter needed to have done to her teeth and why. I had no questions!

All staff at Apple Pediatric Dentistry are very friendly and address any concerns or worries you may have about any procedures that may need to be done. Everyone is very friendly and calm. I appreciated that Dr Chin talked to me privately about my childs checkup while my child played games in the waitingroom.

Although my son typically does really well at the dentist, he was reluctant to get his teeth cleaned today, but the assistant was very patient with him and spoke to him in a kind, calming, compassionate tone. i do appreciate that very much!!

My 9 year old daughter had a few previous experiences with another dentist that were not positive, and left her terrified of dentists. They did not understand her sensory issues, and her deep fear of new and unknown situations. After doing lots of research, we chose to move her to Apple Pediatric Dentistry. At her first exam, she first fell in love with the video games in the waiting room. I explained her situation to the staff, and they were very careful to not discuss any "scary" dental topics in front of her. She had 8 or 9 teeth that needed serious work done due to the previous dentist not being able to handle her appropriately. Dr. Chin consulted with me, away from my daughter (to prevent her from hearing), that she needed multiple fillings, an extraction, spacers and more. Knowing about her overwhelming fears, they scheduled all work to be done at one appointment. They brought in an anesthesiologist who sedated her for the entire procedure. All of the work was completed in less than 90 minutes, and my daughter has no clue that there were any needles involved. After the appointment, Dr. Chin sat down with me and explained the consistency of my daughter's teeth, which gave us an understanding of how they had gotten to the point of such decay. He gave us tips for dealing with them in the future.

At the 6 month follow up appointment, I am happy to report she is cavity free! And the best part is, she is super excited for her next appointment. The entire experience has been so positive. I am thankful the staff helped create an environment that has completely changed my daughter's perspective of dentists.
