Dr. W and the care staff performed a very thorough exam to determine if there might be a retinal tear. All phases of the exam were explained. A concern regarding the tube inserted in my eye to relieve pressure was revealed. The team worked to explain the issue and to help in getting an appointment with a glaucoma specialist.

Perhaps on the type of procedure I encountered (macular hole repair) to hand out a Q & A to answer basic questions that are common. Would be helpful to not have to call a nurse for each concern. It's such a unique procedure with weeks of recovery and changes!
