The clinic is lucky to have Silvia on staff. She is fantastic. I have been seen by several male physicians for my glaucoma. They were happy to prescribe me drops without taking any effort whatsoever to actually figure out what is wrong. In fact, somehow it was always my fault and not their problem that I have high IOP. Silvia was the first to do the right diagnostics to define my narrow angle glaucoma and then took every possible action to prevent the possible vision loss, including due to acute flareups. She approaches the problems without bias, assesses the entire patient's history, and then takes the best course of actions. I hope Froedtert takes extra effort to retain Silvia as a physician as she can be easily poached by other health networks.
