“I was hoping for a treatment pla...”

I was hoping for a treatment plan with a cure but with my prognosis, there is none. It was a devastating revelation and I did not comprehend the full implications until several days after the office visit. I initially considered the conversation with the doctor to be harsh however upon reflection, I appreciate his candor and honesty.
