“I had a life changing diagnosis”

Dr Herre could have very well save my life. After a surgery left me with Urology problems I needed a urologist. Dr. Herre came highly recommended by the person who neglected over many years to do the tests necessary to perform bloodwork to identify my health issues.
Dr. Herre without hesitation ordered bloodwork be done.
We found a medical issue “cancer” that if left untreated could have cut my life short. He knew that simple testing that was neglected by my primary care doctor needed to be done. Why was this not diagnosed earlier, I don’t know. I was given opinions which lead me to believe it lies with money and insurance company’s not wanting to pay for testing unless there’s a 100% probability of the result.
In summary, thanks Dr. Herre for doing what’s right and knowing if these tests you done were not carried out in a timely manner it may have shortened my life significantly.

Only issue was in using their new phone system…it was not working! Eventually selected “schedule an appointment” and was transferred to his nurse. Couldn’t leave a detailed message (as directed) before my message started replaying to me. Twice. Very frustrating but did get a call back the following day in spite of not being able to leave a complete message. Otherwise, the staff is great along with Dr. Herre.
