Dr. Pate is excellent and I am extremely glad he was my surgeon. Everything related to my condition and treatment has always been explained clearly. I can't recommend UVA highly enough in every respect--it is so well organized and efficient. I'm profoundly grateful to have been able to get treatment there. The difference between the pain and debilitation before and its correction after surgery is profound. I can't say enough how thankful I am. Everything about the process and its follow up has been well-directed and comprehensible.
