“I felt like she was reading from...”
I felt like she was reading from a script and went through everything really fast before I could even think to process what she was saying. I felt like I was on an assembly line and her answers were short and seemingly rude. I was made to feel like a number, not an individual. When I tried to give information about my specific challenges and what I was looking into to try and help myself, instead of explaining why she disagreed, she dismissed what I was saying and moved on rather than at least pretending I might know something about myself that she doesn't. This hasn't always been a problem for me, so instead of looking into what has changed, she listed my criteria factors, overweight being number 1, like it's the biggest problem. I am overweight, peri-menopause has not been kind to me. I also have a physical job, I stand all day, my schedule is never the same. I don't over-eat. Instead of giving a little grace, I just felt insulted.
