This was hands down the best appointment I've had with a specialist. Dr Pansing took great care to understand my concerns, the medical events that brought me in, what I am already doing to prevent episodes, and my family history for multiple conditions. She was very engaging in our conversation and helped me to feel safe and truly heard for the first time regarding this problem. So often specialist appointments are scheduled fifteen to thirty minutes, but the provider is in the room for five to eight minutes telling you what they already decided before they opened the door to your exam room. Dr Pansing was the opposite. Hopefully I won't need many follow up appointments, but I know I am hands that care if I do.
