This is no reflection on the provider. I was exhausted and weakened from the drive to the facility. In addition, a few days earlier I had a spinal tap and my pressure was a little on the low side (5) closing and I was still recovering from that additional weakness. At the interview, I was shaking with weakness so it would have been helpful if key questions could have been sent to me prior to the interview. Due to my symptoms and travel fatigue, it was hard to understand and answer the questions with clarity. Nevertheless, the provider was very patient with me and worked hard to get an understanding of my migraine situation. Lastly, there is no mechanism in place to check a provider's interview records (e.g., whether the patient understood the questions and answered accurately). This observation is about the process and not about the provider. The provider was knowledgeable, professional, kind, caring, and able to offer helpful suggestions for future treatment regarding migraines. I appreciate the opportunity for my case to be reviewed.
