I have always deeply appreciated the way I feel in my appointments with Dr. Elias. He treats me with respect and dignity. He empathizes with my struggles and I love how it feels like he Is partnering with me in my health journey. He gives good explanations about each thing brought up in our appointments. I appreciate that he gives good details without big medical jargon and in ways I can easily understand

Dr Elias was so kind and really took his time to examine me thoroughly and explain what he was thinking and answer all my questions. UVA is lucky to have such a well rounded and knowledgeable physician!!!

“I've had two other neurologists ...”

I've had two other neurologists (not with UVA Health) and Dr. Elias is by far the best. He actually listens and show empathy and concern. He takes my condition seriously and appears truly interested in helping.
