A non -surgeon orthopedist had told me I probably needed knee replacement surgery. Dr. Vajapey had reviewed all my records (MRI etc.). And really explained why my knee was "bad" but not bad enough for such invasive surgery. She has offered a number of alternatives even though eventually I may need the surgery. She was very prepared and super informative.

Excellent experience. Dr. Vajapey was informative and forthcoming about possible outcomes--good, bad, or ugly. She also offered a good reason for replacing one knee at a time rather than both at the same time. Would strongly recommend her to anyone with relevant problems.
