I've been a patient of Dr. Parasa's for almost 3 years and appreciate having her involved in my care. Despite long wait times (scheduling an appointment, wait time in the lobby and exam room) Dr. Parasa always spends ample time answering my questions/concerns, and makes sure I feel comfortable with the plan of care. She's a very caring and knowledgable physician who takes time assessing patient needs to maximize treatment will trying to minimize side effects so her patients can have the best quality of life.

Dr. P. Was patient as she listened to my concerns. Her awareness of my historical and present list of medical concerns was remarkable. Her explanations and instructions were concise and simple to understand.

This was one of my best physician visits. She was smart as a whip, kind, understood my concerns, and explained things beautifully.

Dr. Parasa has been my GI specialist for over two years and I feel fortunate having someone as supportive, educational and non judgmental involved in a critical part of my wellbeing. When I saw Dr Parasa a few weeks ago, I had been struggling more symptomatically than usual (even after trying alternative options). Given Dr. Parasa has worked with me long enough to "know my baseline," she recognized I was having a rough day, and automatically decided to listen and provide support vs only focusing on my GI symptoms/issues and not acknowledging my mental health concerns. There aren't many specialists I have seen/worked with who are as attuned to their patients mental health challenges (and actually talk about them) as Dr. Parasa. You can undoubtedly see how much Dr. Parasa truly and genuinely cares when she stops everything (related to her specialty) and takes time to address more concerning issues (mental health) since she can see it (mental health) being more important than the GI symptoms the patient has. Swedish won the lottery getting Dr. Parasa and I hope she stays for a long time!

Dr. Parasa was thorough, thoughtful, and took the time to listen to my concerns. She explained things in a way that made sense and asked me if I had any other questions or concerns. She has fantastic bedside manners and is very knowledgeable. I have seen many GI doctors, and I can easily say I was impressed by my first visit with her.
