“I was a tad late for my appt, I ...”
I was a tad late for my appt, I hope that was not reason for my experience.I felt very rushed and don't feel like I was heard.Being a fairly healthy individual I see the provider only once a year but I was quickly dismissed and so were my questions.I was told I needed to talk to a OB/ Gyn and a referral was provided to discuss menopause , HRT, and managing menopausal symptoms.I was told supplements are unnecessary ( which I respect within reason) but no support was provided when I mentioned about stiffness and aches in the am times.I never got follow up for areas my numbers were high neither last year or for this year. She referred to last years chart a year later about my D3 being high and that limits have changed and no supplements needed. Although I got no guidance when I received the report last year .I am yet to receive guidance on my Co2 being high I was told I needed to lose some weight for a healthy BMI but not how much and why ( I am not obese and unsure if I am even overweight)I also wanted to discuss pain during intercourse but never got to it.Overall I left the office annoyed , unheard and unseen .I understand that not all times provider and patient will see eye to eye , but I prefer when mine atleast takes the time once a year to listen and give opinion vs immediate dismissal or set atmosphere that feels rushed .I will be considering a new provider or practice. I really hope this one would work because of our ethnicity background and relatability
