This was a follow up to an ongoing problem. All he did was push more of the same Rx at me as last time and insist he was not licensed and could not refer me to a doctor outside PA/DC. His concern for me as an individual with a neck injury was zero. I was just another check mark on his day before he flew off to London where he lives.

“Of all the providers I have seen...”

Of all the providers I have seen in the past six months, he is the first one to actually truly listen and focus on the extreme issue being dealt with and the first to tell me how best to use the medications in conjunction to help them be effective to any degree. Every other provider I have seen switched their focus to other medical issues they perceived to be important and ignored the acute pain and lack of sleep that I made an appointment to address, or gave me a "band aid" type prescription to help for a few days to just mask the problem.

“I've had strokes on both sides o...”

I've had strokes on both sides of my brain. One was caused by a carotid artery dissection; the other was unknown. The doctor suggested that the cause of the unknown stroke may be a small hole in my heart. He advised me to ask my general practitioner if the hole is still present. I haven't seen my GP yet; it will be my first question at our next appointment. To finally have an answer after all these years (12+) is a relief. I want to send a special thank you to my doctor.
