I came to be a patient of Dr. Benigar during an incredibly dark time in my life. My dad had just passed away and I was finishing up my last few sessions of ECT (electro convulsive therapy). Dr. Benigar was genuinely interested in my story, what I was struggling with, and how to get me the best treatment possible. He actually listened to me and asked questions that other doctors never did. He listened to my opinion when it came to the long list of medications I had tried and any other therapies.
