“Caring and competent team and a good experience overall.”
I had severe bone loss and was prepared for the worse. Dr Ferrence and his professional team used a new procedure called LANAP to regenerate the bone loss. After the treatment Dr Ferrence was available night and day by phone. Thank goodness as I reacted badly to one of the antibiotics and called him on a Friday evening and he was able to sort it out for the weekend. The entire staff is professional and caring and I really like the time that all of them will spend with you to explain the procedures and the follow up results. I was new to the Albany area and really didn't know who to turn to and am glad that I found such a good place to land. The good news is that the treatment is working well as long as I do my part with good hygiene which will delay or prevent dentures in the future.

“Despite some expected discomfort, I enjoyed being with Dr. Ference and his staff. ”
As previously stated, I knew that it wasn't going to be a "pleasant" experience getting work done on my gums, but it was a pleasure dealing with Dr. Ference and his professional and friendly staff. Dr. Ference went above and beyond to make sure that I don't have to come visit him again anytime soon, hopefully. :-)

Our insurance coordinators deal with many different insurance companies. Some companies offer many different dental and medical plans. These companies can change benefits, co-pays, and deductibles many times throughout the year. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on information available to us. At times, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance co-payment. Many insurance companies will not give out fees until after the treatment is completed. Dealing with these companies can be difficult and time consuming.
As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is current.
Although we will gladly file a claim on your behalf, you may wish to submit the claim yourself. In general, insurers process claims filed directly by patients faster than those filed by the service providers (dental offices).
Further, most dental insurance policies are limited and often only pay for a portion of the procedure(s) that may need to be done.
