“I was initially surprised that I...”

I was initially surprised that I was not prescribed any medication - namely an antibiotic for a sinus infection. After a bit of research I found that antibiotics for sinus infections for the most part do not decrease the recovery period. Most sinus infections run a course of ten days to two weeks regardless of antibiotic intervention. I applaud her for not prescribing unnecessary medication.
