“My Dr doesn't seem to be very do...”
My Dr doesn't seem to be very doubtful that we can progress by reducing medication and monitoring thru blood analysis and other testing to monitor my cardiac health. Preferring to maintain a lifelong prescription of statins, hypertension meds and aspirin. I want to progress gradually reducing my dosages and carefully monitoring the results. I am not convinced that his view Is as simple as "just take these meds as a prophylactic measure because Its safer" rather than see If you can eat well, exercise, reduce stress and return to a healthy balance again. I didn't feel he had time to discuss this, perhaps because he was too busy with patients but also maybe he doesn't agree with my Interest In trying to restore health by seeing if I can gradually wean myself off the medication that can definitely have unintended side affects. I'm sure he means well, but he does not seem to consider any information you gain online as being credible characterizing the people who post there as being "influencers" when the people who's opinions I consider online are board certified physicians in the field of cardiology and are reporting their findings of practicing medicine, even if it's contrary to conventional popular medical beliefs. They are using their observations of their daily practice to reach the conclusions they have about health and medicine.
