My doctor had to inform me I have breast cancer. It was very evident that she was concerned for me, she reassured me, told me she would hand pick the breast cancer team for me, that she would be involved in every step and that I could reach out to her at any time if I had questions, was afraid or just needed someone to talk to. She gave me information to educate me on the diagnosis and told me I was not alone in this journey.
