Dr. Makar put very much time, concern and thought into my medical problems and situation. My PCP did not have any openings on this day, and Dr. Makar saw me instead of my regular PCP. I was pleasantly surprised at the time, concern and absolute thoroughness he provided to me. He truly listened, to every question and concern that I had. He did not rush me, and thoroughly addressed every question, of which I had many. He was amazingly patient and knowledgeable, and even provided other possible causes to my ongoing health issues that had never been mentioned before. He had new suggestions and ideas that will help me going forward in how to reach a diagnosis on some of the more difficult health issues. It is so true that one of the most important aspects of care that a doctor should demonstrate is a true concern for the patient, and to listen, listen listen! That is the only way that any doctor will ever be able to completely and thoroughly diagnose and treat any patient. Dr. Makar was wonderful in his care, concern, listening, and willingness to help. He made me feel comfortable, and treated me and my concerns with respect and concern. He took everything I said into consideration, and took it seriously. He is a very good doctor. I am thankful he was there and able to see me that day. I am also very thankful for his care, concern, listening and for taking everything seriously.
