This was my second time seeing this doctor, and unfortunately I had another very negative experience.On August 15, I came in specifically because I needed a cervical exam. I understand that Baylor Urgent Care is not a women's health clinic, but I should not have been made to feel embarrassed or judged for taking care of my health. The doctor appeared visibly uncomfortable and disgusted to perform the exam, which made me feel extremely uneasy as a patient.Then, on August 17, I found out that the tests I specifically requested were never performed, even though the doctor documented in my chart that I had requested them. As a result, I wasted both my time and money and still did not receive the answers I came in for.This was especially disappointing because it was not my first negative experience with this provider. During a previous visit, I came in for a strep test and overheard the doctor speaking about me in a rude, cussing, and unprofessional manner with another nurse in the hallway. I reported my concerns to the front desk, where I was told this had been an ongoing issue. I then spoke with the manager on duty, who apologized and asked if I would be willing to give the clinic another chance in the future.I did return on August 15, hoping my experience would be different, but I regret that decision. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism, regardless of the reason for their visit. Being made to feel ashamed for seeking appropriate medical care and then discovering that the requested testing was not completed is unacceptable. I hope this complaint is taken seriously so that future patients do not have a similar experience.
