My appointment was to discuss what moving forward with a total knee replacement would look like. Nathan and I talked about IF there were any other potential treatments, or if it was time to schedule surgery. He explained in detail the surgery and its risks, what to expect in the first days afterward, the pain management and movement limitations and expectations. Recovery time and PT before attempting to return to normal activities. I am apprehensive about this surgery and appreciate Nathan's aid to help me understand and accept this surgery.
