I was switched off my birth control because in her words "i can't let you keep taking that, you could have a stroke". Those words would scare any patient. I'm not angry at the switch, I'm upset that a healthcare provider would freak their patients out like that. She could've very well said "I'm switching your birth control, because the risks outweigh the benefits, and I'm putting you on one with less risks associated with it". When the provider starts freaking out, then patients emotions will follow the same way.freaking out.
