I've been able to I discern that the diameter of my individual hairs was becoming smaller for 30 years. I've always noticed that I lost a lot of hair ~ I'd find it wrapped up in the vacuum when I cleaned our home and of course, after every shampoo, in the drain. Eventually, I'd lost so much volume that I had to wear small barrettes because regular ones would slide right out! My hair had become so fine that when I sat in the car seat, it would fly up and get caught in the car door! The rain ran off my scalp & down my face all winter, so I looked for hats...As a 'mature' professional, I was starting to feel compromised at work. My balding head had become an issue!
