However, she decided to pop in and check on me directly, which was highly appreciated. My husband and I were deep in the newborn trenches and very sleep-deprived at the time, and she showed remarkable empathy and assured us that everything would be OK and even gave me a hug. I felt that this was going above and beyond what was expected of a provider.
