“Overall she was fine and provide...”
Overall she was fine and provided insight to what could be going on and ordered blood work that gave answers. Her initial patient greeting was not very welcoming. I had been very sick for over week and she asked why I was there. I said I hadn't been feeling well. Her response was well I'm going to need more information than that. She softened a little throughout the appointment but I just prefer providers who are a little more welcoming and approachable. I also shared that I hadn't been sleeping for a few months and experienced chronic stress which I believed to be contributing to all the symptoms I experienced that day. She didn't ask me anything follow up questions about why I wasn't sleeping or stressed. I work in healthcare myself and anytime patients tell me they are stressed I always ask what's been going on to uncover more of what's going on with them to better help.
