Perhaps out-of-line: I'm an exceptional scholar, published medical author accustomed to working with senior-level people. My last visit seemed like a waste of time. I do have initial dementia, diagnosed Alzheimers, AND a know-it-all control-freak wife that synchs well with the Doc, but he is too junior-level, inexperienced, doesn't see through the extremely controlling wife who spends more time in the hospital with her disability issues than he may know. Given this, he not a good specialist for me at this time. There must be someone better for me, and I'm going to pursue a change, maybe at Optum.

Dr. Buch spent time talking to me and checking for symptoms of MS, which was the reason for my visit. Once we had addressed that concern, he brought up my headaches and talked with me about a diagnosis and treatment plan. I really appreciate that he took the time to address an issue that was not the original reason for my visit. He was also respectful of my wishes regarding prescription medication to handle my condition, and took time to carefully explain different options and follow-up. I'm very grateful to have found this practice and Dr. Buck

Difficult to understand his details about MRI results with the brain. Dr could use more every day language.

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Buck and appreciated his thoroughness with my examination and assessment. The only suggestion I have is on the time it takes to schedule an appointment. It would be helpful if I could be contacted sooner to schedule an appointment rather than waiting an extended period of time.
