From the moment I met Dr. Farkas (I did extensive research!), I knew that he had the confidence and training to address my physical concerns. We spoke candidly about my goals and expectations to make sure I had a realistic picture of what surgery could achieve. He answered every single one of my questions - more than once - and truly put me at ease from the early stages of the process, through the pre-ops, to the post-ops, and now almost 6 months later with my fabulous new tummy. He KNEW what I was going to look like months down the road, and his excitement was contagious. He truly exceeded all my expectations. Better than anticipated, forewarned of side effects but none occurred. Results very promising. I had almost no pain at all, you could call the procedure painless! Process entirely smooth from the get-go. He had a full discussion with me beforehand making the procedure very easy, with no hidden surprises.

After undergoing gastric sleeve surgery for weight loss, I was very pleased that I had lost 75 pounds! However, I was left with lots of extra skin in the belly as well as under my arms. I was so much healthier and thinner but still wasn't really happy with my appearance. In consultation with my gastric surgeon, I decided to seek out a plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck and an arm lift. I considered and met with several Bergen County surgeons and made the easy decision to ask Dr. Farkas to do my surgery. The decision was "easy" because: a friend had been happily treated at your practice; your consultation process was thorough, honest and friendly; and each member of his staff was professional as well as extremely knowledgeable. Three months ago we did it! The results are fantastic...even knowing I am still a bit swollen in the belly, and that my scars will still fade further. Dr. Farkas and his staff have been certain and careful to help me with the appropriate expectations and excellent aftercare. I look and feel so good! My experience has been exceptional.
